Did you know that simple negative words can cause a butterfly effect?
A simple "You don't care" can echo through one's mind.
It can grown louder and louder, deafening even. Then the other thoughts start.
"I do care, I really do!"
"I've done all I can to show it haven't I?"
"They hate me! They're right I don't care enough"
"I'm not worth their time, I'm not worth existing if I don't care"
"There are so many that DO care, why should I be here as an obstacle to them?"
"They were always right... I never cared... so why should I even try to care?"
Any negative words can start this butterfly effect and could potentially destroy one's peace of mind, self and life. Please. Think before you speak.
We're all human. We all have anxiety and those voices in our heads. Don't think someone won't be affected. It affects everyone differently and more often then not, the person affected the worse will hide it the best.
Tell someone you love them. Tell them that you treasure them.
Tell them why they're so beautiful. Tell them that they matter to you.
